So far I’ve shared my top present ideas for cool mamas, and some gift ideas for stylish toddlers. Today I’m focussing on all the awesome men in your life and I’ve got some suggestions for gifts to show them just how appreciated they are.
The first place to head if you’re looking for presents for husbands, boyfriends, dads, baby daddies or any other cool guys in your life is Thor’s Threads. Run by 1/2 of one of my very favourite power couples, Thor’s Threads offers a large selection of cool patches and pins here, and you’re bound to found something suitable. My top choices would be the Bad Ass Dad patch, and this one (look away Adam don’t ruin the surprise) but there are loads more to look through. I also really love this Goddess patch, might get that one for myself!
If you’re looking for something personalised, take a look at XOXO Stationary. There’s a huge range of products to choose from, and loads of opportunities to add names or personal details. These to do lists (with added “as instructed by his nagging wife”) are a great stocking filler for busy husbands, and these adorable and customisable coasters would be great for all the Dads out there. The Dictionary Definition travel mugs would be a great gift for all the men you’re buying for, and could be as complimentary or as funny as you want!
For all the coffee lovers out there, how about a unique gift from Bell & Rigg? Founded by owner Gemma after she left the corporate world (and her favourite barista) behind, as she found herself on a mission to create awesome coffee at home. She now offers the option to create a coffee themed gift box, complete with your choice of brewing equipment, and the option to give the gift of a subscription to the Bell & Rigg Coffee Club. A 3 month subscription gets the recipient 6 deliveries of quality coffee, based on their brewing preferences. I think my dad would love this!
If you’re looking for something really special head to Nia Tudor Illustration and take a look at the gorgeous detailed Custom Family Portrait Illustrations. What a lovely way to freeze time on a special moment, with a bespoke piece of art that can be treasured forever. Nia will work with you to create a beautiful image of your family based on your descriptions and photographs. With time running out before Christmas why not purchase a gift certificate and let the recipient choose the details for their illustration in the new year? Nia also stocks some other gorgeous prints and mugs like this Papa Bear one and ‘You are the words to my story’.
Some more personalised gifts I love are available from Fox + Weave. We already have some of their lovely Personalised Christmas Tree decorations (which make really great gift tags), and this year I’ve ordered a few of their personalised wooden wall plaques and name plaques as presents for some of the brilliant men I’m buying for. All items are made to order, so get your orders in fast if you want something in time for Christmas, but this means everything can be fully customised and painted in a colour of your choice which is a lovely touch.
Finding gifts that are really lovely as well as ethical or supportive of good causes can be hard, but Selfish Mother always gets it right. A huge amount of profit from their #goodtees goes straight to some amazing causes like Prostate Cancer UK and Help Refugees. Plus there are so many awesome and easy to wear designs. I really love the new Super Man Sweatshirts, suitable for all the men in your life, as well as the Dadding It Sweatshirt, Brother Tee and Papa Baseball Tee. There really is something for everyone and each sale helps to raise even more for the worthwhile charities Selfish Mother supports, win win!
For all the bearded men in your life check out The Brighton Beard Company and The Bedfordshire Beard Co, both awesome beard care brands selling good quality, all natural beard care products which are produced in house with love and care. Old Joll’s Beard Oil is a blend of the finest oils, designed to nourish your man’s beard and the skin beneath. It comes in a range of amazing scents like mandarin, cedar wood and juniper or black pepper and grapefruit. The Bedfordshire Beard Co also offers a wide range of quality beard care products including oils and balms, the Mango Beard Balm is a personal favourite of the beard in my life!
For a modern gift or something maybe a new addition to someone’s gallery wall have a look at New Icons of Print. I love the unique mix of art and typography available and you’re sure to find something to fill anyone’s empty frame. I really love this Buy the ticket Take the Ride print and the Big Magic 3, and I know the perfect office setting for a Fancy as Fuck poster. They also have a whole range of customisable prints to celebrate a specific date, place or even a special song and they are happy to tweak or redesign something to your specific taste. There will definitely be some New Icons of Print filling some frames here this Christmas!
So what do you think? Any more present ideas for the important men I’m buying for this year? What’s under the tree this year for the men you love?
