Craft: Toddler Craft Ideas – Mothers Day

There’s only a few days left to go, so if you aren’t already prepared for Mother’s Day it might be time to get a little more creative. I posted my last minute Mother’s Day gift guide a few days ago, and today I’m sharing some simple craft ideas suitable for toddlers and young ones. Most of these projects would be lovely to make and gift to someone at any time of year so make sure you pin and save for future inspiration.

How cute are these Mothers Day Clay Bowls from Play Learn Everyday? We quite often create gifts and decorations with salt dough, and it’s a great craft for a huge range of ages. Love the idea of making a little bowl!

Another lovely craft idea that would make a brilliant gift for a loved one is this World’s Best Mum Medal from A Blonde and A Baby. These are brilliant and again you could vary the skill and detail involved to make it suitable for multiple ages. I’d love to be given one of these on Sunday!

For a simple and really effective idea why not try these Tea Cup Planters from Chloe Me Just Me? A gorgeous personalised plant pot to gift to the Mums in your life. You could decorate any kind of mug or plant pot and fill it with real flowers, fake, or another treat!

Flower Button Bookmarks from Clare’s Little Tots would make a really lovely gift, and are made with some really simple things that you may already have! You could even make a few and make them into a little flower button bouquet.

If the loved ones in your life would prefer something edible then why not have a go at some simple baking with your little ones? Lots of our Valentine’s Day baking ideas would make lovely Mother’s Day presents, or what about a batch of our super simple Peanut Butter Cookies?

Will you be making any gifts this week for Mother’s Day? Going to have a go at any of these ideas, or something else? Let me know in the comments!
