PrimEVIL 2018 – Norfolk’s Biggest Scare Experience

You already know that I’m a big fan of Halloween. Nowadays that generally includes child-friendly baking and pumpkin patches, but pre Dil it used to include much more grown up spooky stuff, like PrimEVIL – a truly immersive scary experience. This year we were invited to attend the press night of PrimEVIL, check out what we got up to below!

PrimEVIL is (rather surprisingly) based at Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure, which by day is one of our favourite family friendly hang outs. For 17 nights in October it’s completely transformed into Norfolk’s Biggest Scare Experience. As well as 5 terrifying attractions, the whole park is full of scary street performers just waiting to make you jump.

Check out my Instagram story highlights for a few more videos from the press night.

PrimEVIL 2018

This year PrimEVIL has 5 attractions (my favourite being The Crypt for sure), plus a bar (serving vodka slush puppies!), BBQ and live music from local band Thy Last Drop. The event is strictly for over 12s only, because it is genuinely quite scary in places – think lots of actors dressed up, chainsaws, very small spaces and lots of darkness. This year they are also hosting two over 18 extreme nights as well, including an augmented reality Zombie Holomaze. Tickets start from £19.95 for the full experience, depending on the date you want to visit. On busier nights the attraction queues can get quite large, but fast track tickets are available and if you’re a Roarr season ticket holder you can get 15% off.

We genuinely had a brilliant night, screaming and laughing until our throats hurt. If you’re in to Halloween or like scary stuff then this really isn’t something you’ll want to miss. Check out the video for a taste of what it’s like this year, then get your tickets booked!

*We were invited down to the press launch of PrimEVIL and were therefore not charged an entry fee. All thoughts and opinions are completely honest*
