Guess How Much I Love You is a classic childhood story describing the huge amount of love between a child and their carer, and it never fails to warm the hearts of all who read it. It’s a staple on our book shelf, and one that Dil pulls out time and time again. Little & Big Nutbrown Hare are charming and lovable characters, so I’m thrilled that they are being brought to life on stage in Guess How Much I Love You Live. The show is touring the country currently and it’s coming to Norwich Playhouse this month.
We’ve been to see several shows at the Playhouse including Sarah and Duck and What the Ladybird Heard and I’ve always been so impressed by the engaging and professional performances they host. There’s something really special about watching your child’s face light up with joy as his favourite stories get told on stage, and something extra heart warming about laughing out loud together at all the brilliantly funny moments. I think introducing children to muscial theatre is a great way to get them to engage with art and with story telling, and here in Norwich we are lucky enough to have the Playhouse which makes the perfect relaxed setting for family shows.
